About My Course
On this course, Kole will be discussing technology with you and explaining the IT landscape to you concisely.
The aim of this is to give you a good understanding of the basics of IT. We will discuss components of technology such as hardware, software and applications. You will learn the key differences between software and an application.
We will be talking about the use of technology in communication, networking, data, programming and in recent times, cloud computing, robotics and machine language. Technology has advanced significantly and comes with its own share of threats to our daily life. We will be discussing information security, cyber security and how these can be prevented.
Finally, we will discuss jobs and roles within IT, and see how well we can align your interests and personalities to specific areas in IT.
