The musical, Ajegunle, is a story about the battle for love, pride of a country and fighting against adversity in the hope of something better. Ajegunle, a district in Lagos, Nigeria tells the story of the upcoming Local Government Chairman elections and the struggle for leadership between the present Chairman and a young, hopeful duo Vic and Gabs, who are looking to make Ajegunle a better place. Will one man’s desire be able to defy the odds stacked against him? This was an exhilarating and pulsating stage production with music from leading contemporary artistes in Nigeria written, directed and produced by Gbadero Lahanmi. Music composed by Michael Femi Dada.
